On 19 and 20 April 2023, Houten will host the Climate Expo, the total event for a climate-proof and biodiverse public space. The ultimate mix of urgent knowledge and practical solutions for flooding, heat stress, extreme drought and the future of our living environment.
Why should you visit?
Climate change is having a major impact, causing not only more intense rainfall but also heat stress and drought. Public spaces, especially in urban areas, need to be climate-proofed. There is also the challenge of creating a sustainable, biodiverse and futuristic living environment. Hundreds of professionals will come together to share knowledge, get inspired and learn about the latest trends and developments in climate-smart, bio-diverse cities and living environments. The event is particularly relevant if you work for a municipality, province, water authority, central government, project developer, consultancy or knowledge institution.
Climate-resilient and bio-diverse public space
The National Climate Expo presents and discusses all the possibilities, problems and solutions for a climate-proof and bio-diverse public space. You will find innovative products for paving, flat roofs, green spaces, squares and rainwater drainage and collection. And, of course, Geodirect’s smart Geo-ICT solutions, such as surveying equipment and software for surveying, processing, visualising and sharing geo-information. We will be at the fair as part of the Infracampus – IKN pavilion (stand number 126).
